Hello, I am Aphaia, a Japanese Wikiquotian, a sysop here since April 2005. Wikiquote is my home and centerplace of my Wikimedia activities in my thought; I am granted both bureaucrat and checkuser flag on this project, and also sysop on Japanese & Latin Wikiquote.

I've been widowed since 2001-12-21. Recently we completed his funeral, at the Buddhist temple w:Isshin-ji, Osaka, Japan, which is said to have been founded by Hōnen. I myself is however no Buddhist, but believe in Eastern Orthodox Christianity. My involvement to the project has been remote because of emotional pressures, and I've rather been concentrated in my own grief work, but I hope to retrieve guts and become active again on Wikimedia project.

If you are annoyed by persistent vandals, or you believe so at least, please bring you problem up publicly, to WQ:VP or WQ:AN. Let us deal with the community problem altogether.

Since April 2006, I am a member of Wikimedia Communications committee & its Translation Subcommittee. My very concerns include smaller projects' promotion, specially Wikiquote. If you have a good idea, please let me share it!

Here I care for:

• Multilingualisation; stats, Project:Local embassy and so on.
• Usability: fix categories, sort templates etc.
• Rules & policy organizing for transparancy of our project & community.
