アリストテレス

アリストテレス（Aristotle、紀元前384年 - 紀元前322年）は古代ギリシャの哲学者です。プラトン学派を拡張発展させペリパトス学派を形成した。

修辞学関係

修辞学は自分の意見を公の場で、いかに人々に印象深く心に残すためには、どのように発表すれば良いかを研究する学問です。

• 起こり得ないようなことが起こるという時は、明確に起こり得るとされているものよりも、いつも、ましなことであるはずだ。

• ひとかたまりは、基礎と真ん中と終りを持っている。

• 一般にさらに良いこと（もの）を望む人たちは、祖先が得た以上のものを望む。

"It is the nature of desire not to be satisfied, and most men live only for the gratification of it."

• 法律は社会の秩序であり、良い法律は良い秩序である。

• 人は生まれながらにして政治の動物である。

"Man is by nature a political animal."

• 自然には何の無駄もない。

"Nature does nothing uselessly."

• 民主主義の状況の基礎は自由である。

"The basis of a democratic state is liberty."

• 最もよく治められるる者が治めるとよい。

• プラトンは私の友達であるが、しかし、その特徴は多くの点で私の友達でもあります。
